Heading into round fourteen of the MXGP World Championship this weekend, Tim Gajser has a huge 177 points lead over Jeremy Seewer who’s currently second in the standings.
It’s unlikely but not impossible for Tim Gajser to clinch his third world title this weekend.
In order to make it happen, Gajser needs to be 200 points in front of Seewer after Lommel with four rounds of the series remaining (having said that, there’s some speculation China could be cancelled).
If the HRC Honda man can get 23 points on Seewer this weekend then he will be crowned champion. It’s unlikely as Seewer is riding really well at the moment but at Lommel anything is possible.
It is more likely for Gajser to clinch the title at Imola a round later.
