The opening round of the British Masters has been cancelled due to the adverse weather in the UK this week.

“Following on from a further track inspection this morning by the land owners after a night of severe rainfall, the track has been deemed unfit due to the ongoing storm we are currently experiencing. We have therefore taken the decision to cancel the first round of the Bridgestone British Masters this weekend. We unfortunately had no alternative and safety of all our riders and workers is paramount,” stated the organisers on social media.

It means the next big race for many British riders will be the British Grand Prix next weekend!
