BOS GP: Searle back in the mix – everything is good

After the MXGP of Latvia which hosted round nine of the World Championship, BOS GP have posted the following report on social media:

We definitely had a tough week, but if MxGP racing was easy, everybody would do it, no?

The all crew were in action in Latvia for the 9th round of the Motocross World Championship.
Track was half sand, half dirt and designed with a lot of Supercross obstacles, including a gnarly line of curvy…sandy…Waves!

Directly from the First practice, Tommy felt good and signed two good results in Time practice : 15th and 12th, only 2 seconds from the pole position.
Olivier Bossard : “Tommy felt good on the bike and the fork was going pretty good all weekend long. Our only concern was about the shock.

Qualification went great with a good 14th position after the 25min moto.
Good enough to choose a good line for the start on Sunday…

After the warm-up, the Kawasaki #100 was ready!
Thanks to the Kawasaki family which helped us after our Battery problems of the last GP’s : everything was running perfectly ALL weekend long giving Tommy more space to focus on the track…

After a good Start, Tommy closed the first lap in 11th and charged all moto long.
The British rider was hungry and Battled with Anstie and Coldenhoff, the last two MXON winners!
11th position at the finish was good, but it’s mainly his speed which was impressive: his best lap time was only 1,8sec slower than the winner Jeffrey Herlings!

The chassis was good, the engine of the 450KXF always perfect, so it was time to rock the second moto!
Sadly, a first turn pile-up stopped all hopes in a second.
The crash was big and we were all lucky and thankful to see Tommy getting up on his feet after that!

Bike is OK, Speed is OK, so let’s move to Germany for the mid point of the season!
