With Tommy Searle moving to the factory Kawasaki team for MXGP and Evgeny Bobryshev injured, BOS Kawasaki have announced that Anthony Rodriguez will ride for the team for the rest of the season.
The team have released the following statement:
Following the injury of Evgeny Bobryshev, it was important to have somebody to run the 450KXF with heart.
“To be honest, it was Anthony or nobody.” Said Olivier Bossard, the owner.
“We all did see last year how much efforts he was putting at each rounds in MX2 with Kemea. He’s young, promising, it’s a good test for 2020 as well”.
Anthony will join the team in the coming days and will train for the 5 remaining rounds.
Anthony Rodriguez: “I’m excited to come back over to Europe to compete in the Motocross World Championship for the third year in a row. I had a great experience in MX2 and at the Motocross of Nations; this time I will be on the big bike and I’m looking forward on seeing how things will play out with this new challenge on the most prestigious class.”
We have a lot of work till Loket (CZ) but with work, nothing is impossible.
Thanks Anthony for believing in us, we believe in you too…
Anthony: “My goal is to show the world yet again what kind of rider I can be when I have a team backing me up and I will work very hard for that.”
