The man on the move was Benoit Paturel who got a bad start but picked the riders of in front of him, Darian Sanayei was holding onto second but crashed trying to respond to the french rider after being passed.

MX2 Race One:

In the second moto it was Pauls Jonass who got the hole shot from his team mate Jorge Prado. Jeremy Seewer got a much better start and was well positioned in third. The Red Bull KTM riders had a great battle during the first few laps exchanging positions.

Jonass then put the hammer down and Seewer passed Prado for second as those two started to break away from the rest of the field. Seewer huffed and puffed to get the gap down but Jonass was able to respond and it never really got close between the front two.

Benoit Paturel got another terrible start and was outside the top twenty on the first lap. He was flying through the pack but crashed when in ninth which meant he had it all to do again. He ended up ninth as he passed Adam Sterry on the last lap. Julien Lieber had a much better moto finishing in fifth.

Jeremy Seewer now gets the red plate heading into round four at Mexico and it was also brilliant weekend for Prado finishing second overall.

In the first MXGP moto it was Tim Gajser who got the holeshot with his team mate, Bobryshev well placed. Van Horebeek was the man on the move as he passed Desalle and Bobryhev to get himself into second. He pulled away from the rest of the pack and kept a three second gap to Gajser until around the half way point in the moto.

Gajser started to ease away at the half way point to take a great victory. Cairoli crashed on the first lap, he had it all to do but he stayed calm and got back to ninth which was a good ride through the pack.

MXGP Race one:

It was a dominant day for the current MXGP champ, Tim Gajser as he made it two wins from two. Evgeny Bobryshev made it a brilliant day for the team as he passed Van Horebeek with two laps to go to make it an HRC Honda 1-2.

It was a much better showing from Jeffrey Herlings as he finished in seventh after Max Nagl made a move on him on the last lap. Antonio Cairoli was buried down outside the top ten but then crashed. Like always the eight times world champion made his way up to fifth.

It was a brilliant weekend for Gajser and he now gets the red plate back heading into round four.
