Arenacross UK 2019 tickets go on sale

Tickets for the new-format 2019 Arenacross UK are now on sale, and canny AX enthusiasts can make a real saving if they get online and book their ‘early bird’ tickets prior to midnight, this Sunday, the 23rd of September 2018. There are also substantial discounts up for grabs on two-night weekend packages too!

Arenacross is an intoxicating three-hour mix of fast-paced action sports and adrenaline-fuelled family entertainment. The very best indoor motocross racers and FMX athletes from around the globe will descend on three of the UK’s liveliest cities for a six-round tour of all-out bar-bashing, short and sharp races and incredible highly-skilled FMX trickery.

For the first-time ever, the opening round will be a Friday and Saturday night double-header at The SSE Arena, Belfast on the 18th and 19th of January 2019! The series will then head back across the Irish Sea to The Genting Arena, Birmingham over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of February, with the grand finale firing up Sheffield’s Fly DSA Arena on the 15th and 16th of February.

The AX Tour already offers value for money and, so it’s welcoming to hear that, in a bucking-the-trend move, the promoter has avoided the need to increase ticket prices. In fact there’s nothing but good news on the ticket front for 2019 as, for AX fans wanting to get the best seats at the best price, a 20 per cent discount will be applied to tickets purchased via www.arenacrossuk.com before that deadline of midnight on the 23rd of September. For those Arenacross devotees wanting to take advantage of a full weekend of unique-to-AX music, lights and action, and book seats for both Friday and Saturday night at their chosen venue, a massive 50 per cent discount will apply to the Friday evening booking.

Looking ahead to the 2019 series, Matt Bates, CEO of Action Sports Live (ASL) the company behind Arenacross, said; “Arenacross never fails to entertain some pretty big audiences year after year – and as we enter our seventh season of staging the tour, with over 50 shows under our belt, we’re more excited than ever to continue growing our audience of AX fans whilst constantly challenging ourselves to deliver something fresh to the year-round motocross fan”.

And with some pretty major changes on the planning board for 2019, Bates outlined his thoughts on the need for variety; “We’ve never stood still, and we’ve never lost our drive to deliver an event that’s both affordable and a great winter night out, but to retain the excitement, things have to change. Over the coming weeks we’ll be finalising plans to introduce electric racing and a whole heap of changes that are aimed at every part of the series from the tracks, to Pro teams, the points system and qualification format on the night. Arenacross isn’t just indoor motocross, it’s an entire night of choreographed entertainment that includes a great sound track, pyro, lasers and live screen back-stage action. We’re also a sports entertainment show that delivers so much more than a seated show – you can win bikes, bet on riders, get to meet the stars, walk the course and go back stage too. What other live show can offer this level of access”?

AX spectators can expect bigger and better from the 2019 Tour with giveaways, autograph sessions, a bike to win at each round and, for those looking to indulge in a spot of AX-pampering, a host of VIP packages delivering the best AX experience ever.
