Anderson: I think we are in the ballpark

2018 supercross champion, Jason Anderson, feels team USA are ‘in the ballpark’ when it comes to their sand speed with the GP riders as they prepare for the MXON at Assen.

Anderson however admitted the riding he is doing in the sand in Europe will help him in the States, “I’m not so used to riding in the sand so much but it’s coming around and I’m enjoying it. This riding we are doing here in Europe is going to help us be better over there at home in the next few years.

“I think I can learn a lot from them, just the way they ride the sand, stand up and lines and everything but I think we are in the ballpark. I don’t think we are slow by any means, another few days of riding and I think we can make some progress. I think we are ready for it and up for the challenge.”
