All change for Jamie Carpenter

All change for Jamie Carpenter

The 2019 season will be all change for Jamie Carpenter as he’s signed a deal with Dutch team, GPR MX Team which means he will remain on a Husqvarna.

However, the Brit will be based in the Netherlands which he hopes will help him improve as a rider. It means he won’t be racing the Maxxis British Championship next year though.

Carpenter will race the EMX250 championship, Dutch Masters of Motocross and the ADAC MX Masters.

He’ll join Cameron Durow and Rob Vd Veerdonk under the teams awning who will race 125’s.

“I’d spent some time in Holland this year and raced in a few rounds of the ONK Dutch Championship where I had three podiums and a race win. Whilst over here training I met the people from the team and we came to a deal for 2019. I am really excited about this new opportunity for next season being able to live and train in Holland will give me the best preparation for the European races”.

“I’d like to thank Husky Sport for continuing to support me, my family for all their time and effort. Also the Vd Veerdonk family and Gunter Peeters for giving me this opportunity and for their hospitality”. Carpenter commented on the move.

Excited to say that I will be riding for GPR MX Team in 2019. I will be racing the EMX250, Dutch Masters, ADAC Masters…
