A new team to contest EMX250

A new team will join the GP paddock in 2019. Italian team, MRteam have decided to make the step up and will run a rider in the EMX250 series as well as the new EMX 2T championship.

The team have been concentrating on the Italian championship up until this point but it’s nice to see them join the GP paddock for the year ahead.

The team have inked a deal with Paolo Lugana who will contest the EMX250 championship. The MRteam run Yamaha machinery and Lugana is no stranger to Yamaha’s having spent 2018 on one.

Andrea Gorini has signed with the team to contest the EMX 2T championship.

“I decided to change teams because I had some mechanic problems in 2018. Now with the new team I find it’s going very well and the goal is to be at the top of the standings in the European championship”, Lugana commented.
