A new EMX125 team for 2019

A new EMX125 team for 2019

There will be a new team in the GP paddock for 2019, in the form of TBS Conversions KTM. The new team in the paddock will concentrate on the EMX125 Championship.

They’ve managed to strike a deal with young Belgian talent,  Wannes van de Voorde who will contest the EMX125 series. He was with the F4E KTM team this year and it looked like he might be going back to being a privateer for 2019 at one stage but he’s now managed to secure support from the TBS Conversions KTM team.

“The team will be run by Tom Steensels and he was my mechanic in 2018 for F4E KTM. We ended the contract with F4E because of some problems and a bad year. Tom and I have always had a good relationship and so we didn’t want it to come to an end.  He had plans for a team with me so we started looking for sponsors etc and he did most of the work. In 2019 I will be riding the EMX125 , ADAC and the Dutch Masters. I really want to thank all my sponsors for making this possible and an extra thanks to my parents, all the people from Motor Sport Future and Tom Steensels”,  van de Voorde commented.

Joining van de Voorde in the team will be Yoran Moens who will focus on the EMX85 championship.

The team will also have a few riders that will focus on the Dutch National Championships in the form of Ilja Rutten (250cc), Sasha Rutten (125cc) and Michael Ratanakul.
