The 8Biano Husqvarna team have confirmed their rider line up for the 2018 season. The team will focus on the MX2 World Championship next year and welcome Brent Van Doninck into the team as he will join up with Iker Larrañaga.
Brent leaves the Kemea Yamaha outfit after finishing tenth place in the 2017 MX2 World Championship. Brent is capable of more though so it will be interesting to see him on the Husky.
Spaniard, Iker Larranaga unfortunately had his injury problems this year but showed good speed when he was healthy. He will be hoping to stay fit next year with plenty of rides in the top ten.
Iker Larrañaga:”I had a difficult season with two injuries that cut my progression, but I showed good speed in some GP’s I was fighting for the top 10. My team 8Biano believe in me for 2018 program, and they will give me the chance to race with factory material for the first time. I want to welcome my new teammate Brent and I hope we make our Team and sponsors feel proud.”
Brent Van Doninck: ”I’m really happy to be a part of the 8Biano team. It’s a fresh start for me because everything is new to me (bike and team). Unfortunately I need to start my preparation and testing with the bike a little bit later because of my wrist surgery but me and my trainer will work hard to get 100% fit for the first race in Argentina. I can’t wait to ride the bike and I’m really motivated for next year!”
